The 4-star boutique-style Villa Ludwig Suite Hotel Hohenschwangau is located near the historical district of Hohenschwangau, 3.3 km from Baroque Basilica St. Mang. Featuring 21 rooms with views of the hills, the lovely hotel is about 20 minutes' walk from the 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace "Neuschwanstein Castle".
You'll need 56-minute drive to Memmingen airport. Halblech is 10 km from here, while Tegelberg Mountain is 2.8 km away. The best historical sights to visit here include the 19th-century fortress "Hohenschwangau Castle", situated in the vicinity of the Villa Ludwig Suite Hohenschwangau. The hotel is also around 300 metres from Neuschwanstein Castles bus stop.
Most of the rooms overlook Neuschwanstein Castle and offer amenities such as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, as well as a mini-fridge-bar, tea and coffee making equipment for added comfort. They are appointed with an oven and kitchenware. Providing a sink, some bathrooms have a shower cap and bath sheets.

the room was exceptionally clean and well, appointed with comfortable beds and a fantastic view of Neuschwanstein castle right from the bedroom. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making our short stay even more enjoyable. the breakfast was amazing with locally sourced products, including honey from their own beekeeper. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk to key attractions like the Museum of the Bavarian Kings and Hohenschwangau castle. the peaceful gardens allowed for a relaxing evening admiring the castle views with a drink in hand. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even accommodating our furry friend and introducing her to the owner's dog, which she loved. the hotel's sustainability practices and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of our stay. From the gourmet breakfast featuring local products to the well, being grotto with water beds and relaxation loungers overlooking the castle and mountains, every moment was conscious and enjoyable. the small spa area with a Finnish sauna and sun loungers provided the perfect ambience to unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque old town of Füssen. Hotel Villa Ludwig exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and eco, friendly stay in the German countryside. We can't wait to return and explore more of the Romantic Road with our loved ones.
